Aus einer Idee wurde eine monatelang geplante \u00dcberraschung: F\u00fcr die jahrzehntelange Freundschaft zwischen dem L\u00f6schzug Erwitte und der Ortsfeuerwehr Th\u00fcringen in Vorarlberg wurde eine besondere Ehrung vorbereitet. Im Rahmen der Generalversammlung am 6. Februar 2026 erhielt Ehrenkommandant Erich Tschann die Medaille f\u00fcr internationale Zusammenarbeit des Deutscher Feuerwehrverband in Bronze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eine entscheidende Rolle spielte dabei Kreisbrandmeister Thomas Wienecke aus dem Kreis Soest. Er lie\u00df es sich nicht nehmen, die Auszeichnung pers\u00f6nlich in \u00d6sterreich zu \u00fcberreichen. Gemeinsam mit einer kleinen Abordnung des L\u00f6schzuges Erwitte reiste er zur Generalversammlung in die Gemeinde Th\u00fcringen; sehr zur \u00dcberraschung der Anwesenden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
